Student Feedback
Intermediate Macroeconomics
"This class changed my view on economics via a fun, approachable class that is perfect for learning. Honestly, it was always a pleasure to come to class and probably my most enjoyable class this semester. Finals usually are a time where I cram information just to get a good grade, however, to be able to still regurgitate information and say I "learned" from a class is caused by a wonderful professor. I genuinely had fun being a part of your class!!"
"I really enjoyed learning in this class. The professor makes the class a very comfortable learning environment which allows me to be confident in asking questions and making mistakes, which enhances my comprehension."
"I liked professor Kurt's enthusiasm a lot. She's very personable and kind, she takes teaching seriously and I know that she cares deeply about her student's learning."
Time-series Analysis
"Professor Kurt is probably one of the best professors I ever had. She is fair but tough but also very understanding and accommodating. She is made to be a professor."
"Professor Kurt is a highly motivated and charismatic individual. What I appreciated most was how we were introduced to challenging econometric concepts and theories, and then given the opportunity to apply these to real-world issues through her problem sets. This approach greatly facilitated my understanding of the material."
"I really liked the structure of the class where we do an application after learning the content."
"I found this course incredible informative and engaging. Your teaching style made the material clear and interesting, and I am excited to put everything I learned into practice. Your dedication to teaching is truly appreciated."
